Who Killed Law & Order?

There have been over 450 Law & Order scripts produced in twenty years, but the last one offers no dramatic resolution or acknowledgment that the end has come. Like a life snuffed out without warning by a ghastly crime, there seems to be many questions but few answers. It makes me want to write a spoof episode entitled “Who Killed Law & Order” that investigates this tragic “show-icide”. I have dashed off one short scene – it would be about scene 7 or 9, the first interrogation room scene, following the first lead in the case, and occurring about half way in the first act.

Revelations

We told the story of the city, but sometimes the city talked back.
