Water Works

I had been looking for something new to do for an upcoming show when I happened upon a small koi pond in a backyard in Brooklyn. The black-bottomed pool was a mirror of the bright sky and the churning fish induced a swirling collage of refracted color and flashing reflections.

But that’s just one example of how interesting water can be. I continue to look into it. It’s deep.
